This age-band signal is processed strictly locally on your device to ensure an age-appropriate experience and is never transmitted to our servers, stored, or tracked.

The App is designed for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect, store, or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU), or minors under the age of 18 in jurisdictions with regional age-gating regulations (such as the Texas App Store Accountability Act).

To protect young users and remain compliant with regional child safety laws:

• Local Age Verification:At runtime, the App checks local age category signals provided securely by the Google Play Store. • Data Processing: The App receives a secure age-category signal (e.g., adult or minor status) directly from the Google Play Store at runtime.
• Privacy Assurance: This signal is evaluated locally on your device to comply with local laws. We do not store, retain, share, or upload this age data to our servers.
• Strict Compliance: In accordance with Google Play policies, this age status is never used for user profiling, tracking, or any form of analytics.

The Ruler App is provided for general measurement purposes only.
